Note: The pistons supplied in the kit are 30mm (vs. OE 29mm) in height.
Our thorough evaluation indicates 30mm actually fits better than 29mm. As our 30mm pistons leave no movement after installed compared to OE 29mm with movement, yet still provides enough clearance for OE rotor & pad.
Thickness of OE rotor=32mm; OE pad=16mm
RB piston gap: 67.69mm
- Less 32mm for rotor.
- Less 32mm (16x2) for pads
Extra clearance=3.69mm
OE clearance: (The piston sits below the boot with movement)
RB clearance: (The piston is above above the boot - No movement)
