Kit contents:
- 4 sets Pins & screws
- 4 ea Pins only (optional)
- 4 ea Screws only (optional) (12 points vs. OE 10 points)
Materials/specs:
- Pins - Stainless steel.
- Screw - Grade 9, black oxidized - Compatibility is certified by RB.
- Head: 12 points (vs. OE 10 points)
- Flange dia.: 15mm (vs. OE 18mm)
Features:
- Replacing factory damaged/rusty pins.
- Correcting caliper assembly discrepancy (Tesla Plaid front calipers).
- Allowing to install thicker (2-4mm) rotors (Tesla Plaid, Porsche Boxster etc.
These pins are made 2mm shorter than OE but are verified that they can keep the pad in place even if the pad lining (friction material) is worn down to the minimal thickness w/o any concern.
Installation Instructions:
1. Use 10 point socket to loosen the screw (Red):
2. Punch out the original pins with a bolt & hammer.
3. Replace with RB new pins.
4. Place the 10 pt screw from the other end.
5. Torque with a 10 pt socket to draw the new bolt until seated to the caliper housing.
For caliper improvement:
Replacing pins to run 4mm thicker rotors, typically like Porsche Boxster's. Replacing both inboard & outboard. (Need qty 2 or 8 new pins)
Correcting uneven pin assembly, like Tesla Plaid calipers. Replacing only Inboard pins (qty 1 or 4 new pins)
Inboard Sides only where you can see the screws are set in deeper that the Outboard.
Replace the pins per above instruction.
Before correction:
After correction - Clearance is increased, and both IB/OB bolts are now symmetrical (centered evenly to the caliper center body).

Perfect Fit
Pins are a perfect fit. I can confirm they also work with any Brembo caliper that uses this style of pad retainer pin, including the Porsche Cayenne, Porsche Panamera, and Volkswagen Touareg, front and rear.
