definitely recommended for heavy track use
over 2 seasons racing our FK8 in sprint races, we never had much issue with the brakes, after going to a high end 2-piece rotor, race fluid, race pads, and titanium pad shims, other than having the stock boots cracking. During our first endurance race we had issues with the stock soft pistons sticking mid race, caused excessive and uneven pad wear. Afterwards I swapped in the Racing Brake stainless pistons with high temp boots. Our next endurance race went great with zero brake issues and the boots still look fantastic.
