Kit Design/Development Note:
This kit is essentially a bolt-on, modification-free installation (except some dustshild trimming - see below), because we did all the hard-workon the design study in strength & rigidity, and development of an "Adaptor" which requires some special tooling & fixture to fabricate, test-fits with revisions to ensure the final assembly to be an easy installation with a durable and high performance CCB brake system that it's supposed to be with guarantee result and satisfaction.
Caliper Adaptor - The center piece of the whole brake kit (Design is copy right protected)
Installation Note:
- The front is known to be a Corvette ZR1 "retrofit kit" which normally requires 20" wheels; as such in order to fit Tesla OE 19" wheels it would requires 12mm wheel spacer (not included) to clear the wheel spokes. RB kit is designed as it should be with adequate clearance from dustshield to provide proper spacing for cooling air, or for a cooling kit.
- No wheel spacer is required if you have 20+" wheels.
- Trimming of dustshield (regardless of wheel size) is required to seat the caliper/adaptor.
All you need is a sheet-metal scissor to trim the dust shield as shown below to clear the caliper installation.
Feature & benefit:
- CCM rotors have "diamond hard" surface with excellent thermal stability so they will NEVER wear*, warp, or crack
- Runs on street or spirited driving.
- Never rust, always looks like new.
- Literally no brake dust.
- Dramatically reduction on unsprung weight.
- Improve driving comfort.
- Inspire braking confidence.
- Substantial reduction on maintenance cost and downtime in pad and rotor replacements.
- Extended driving range.
- Save money over iron brake in the long run.
