[PD2155-391A] RB (XT910) Street Brake Pads for Iron Rotors - BMW M4 G82/83 (21+); M5 F90 (2018+) Front

I got the brake pad set for iron rotors on my 2021 BMW M5 to replace the factory pads and to be used with my existing rotors. My goal was to reduce the amount of brake dust without sacrificing too much braking power/feel for daily street driving. PROs: I'm happy to report the brake dust produced by the Racing Brake pads are noticeably less than the factory pads. For example, it only takes 1 day after a wash for the factory pads to dust up the wheels whereas the Racing Brake pads allow for almost 2 weeks of driving before it gets to a similar level. This is a huge win! The braking power/feel is very comparable to the factory pads. I'm sure the factory pads perform better on paper, but there isn't much of a discernible difference in power/feel for daily street driving with these Racing Brake pads. CONs: Not much to really complain or report about. The only fitment issue encountered was that the wear sensor didn't fit like a glove as they do on the factory pads, but they went in well enough and have held on for over 1,000 miles so seems to be fine. Initially, the brake pads were very squeaky even after bedding them in. It took another bedding in process to eliminate all squeaks. I'm guessing the brakes didn't get up to temp and weren't properly bedded in the first time is all. They're quieter than factory pads now. Overall very impressed with the lower amount of dust produced by these pads compared to the factory ones with hardly any noticeable sacrifice in braking performance/feel. So far, very happy with this purchase and will plan to buy again for replacements when that time comes.
